I rented a street glide from these guys. They were great to deal with, very professional and courteous. They had multiple bikes and types of bikes for all users. If I get back to Kuaia I will decibel rent from then again.

There is not another dealership or business in general that I have ever called or walked into that I felt more welcome. Always friendly, always smiling. Most dealerships make me think of that scene in "Pretty Woman" where Julia Roberts walks in the store and they act like she's not good enough to be in there, won't even wait on her. Visiting the island of Kauai was absolutely upgraded by renting a Harley from these guys.

The bike was in great shape and the suggestions about where to ride and what to see were extremely helpful.

Luckily I also had no rain to deal with while I was there which enhanced the whole riding experience.

I live on the Island of Oahu and was ordered to attend some military training in San Antonio, TX for about four months. I couldn't imagine being without my scoot for that long. I happen to be on Kauai doing some riding and stopped in and talked to Tim the owner of Kauai Harley Davidson. Wow, you want to talk about feeling like the luckiest guy on earth. I didn't even think it was feasible, but Tim crated my bike and sent it all the way to San Antonio, TX without so much as a scratch. And all at a cost I could not believe. Now I have more than 2000 miles logged in TX and enjoying every minute of it. Tim and his crew at Kauai Harley Davidson made my trip possible. After losing my 2002 Heritage Softail Classic in a hit-and-run in Dec 2005 I spent the next nine months in physical therapy learning to walk again. Thanks to Tim and his staff now I'm riding again. I just wanted to take a minute to say that my experience at Kauai Harley Davidson was great. All of the staff (and I mean everyone of them) was very helpful and all of them looked like they really enjoyed their jobs there. I could tell they all interacted well with each other and the customers. As an example, a couple of the cashiers found out that the next day's planned company picnic was cancelled due to rough waters off the coast. They really looked disappointed...I don't know too many people that want to hang out with their co-workers on their day off, but these girls were really bummed out about the cancellation of this activity that would have been on their time! Regardless of the bad news, the girls were more than happy to assist me with my questions and all I was doing was renting a bike and buying some shirts. The guys outside were more than helpful in making sure I was familiar with the bike before I took it out for the day. Despite the rainy weather on the island, the bike didn't have a spot on it when I picked it up. Like I said, it was an awesome experience. I have been to HD dealerships all around the world (London, Rome, Beijing, Shanghai) and Kauai HD was by far the greatest experience I have had. I will certainly remember to look them up next time I am back on the island. Tim is definitely running a great outfit over there!

My wife and I recently took a vacation to Kauai and rented an Ultra Classic for a day to ride around the island. Your service was great and the day with the motorcycle was wonderful...beyond our expectation. Almost made us want to stay in Kauai forever. I would recommend doing a day long rental for anyone vacationing there.

My wife and I spent our honeymoon in Hawaii, visiting both Kauai and Maui. We saw the dealership on our drive to our hotel the first day of our stay. We decided to stop in later that day and we were very pleased with the service we received. We even decided to rent a harley for the day. We rode most of the day visiting different sites on the island and were stopped by several people asking us where we got rented the bike from and how our experience. For our recent trip (9/06) to Kauai, Cathy and I decided to rent a Fatboy for a day. An Internet search took us to Kauai Harley-Davidson. Our information requests and reservation was completely handled via e-mail. When we arrived at KHD our bike was washed and out front ready for us. A young lady handled the paperwork quickly, the 'bike wrangler' got us on, and we were off for a day of touring Kauai. Sadly, 4:30 came too fast and we had to return your bike. Afterward when we were selecting T-Shirts and coffee cups there was absolutely no pressure to hurry eventhough it was close to closing time. A first-class bike from a first-class dealer with a first-class staff - it doesn't get any better! We are looking forward to doing this again, soon! P.S. We have a picture of us at Spouting Horn and a movie going through the Tree Tunnel if anyone is interested.

My girlfriend and I were on Kauai in October 2006 and as an officer in the "Houston Area #1" HOG chapter was looking forward to renting a bike to ride the canyon. My friend in Kauai immediately suggested your dealership and I rented an Ultra Classic for the day. The staff was very friendly and as I had never ridden an Ultra Classic before (I ride a Heritage) went over all the unfamiliar controls on the Ultra. Soon we were off to the canyon with the sound system rocking and enjoyed the beautiful weather and the canyon. My experience with your dealership was like Mancuso Harley-Davidson in Houston (my dealership), I felt at home and with friends. Thank you for making my ride in Kauai a very memorable experience.

My wife and I were coming to Kauai last March but the severe flooding caused us to postpone and reschedule our trip a couple of times. We had already rented the Road Glide and I thought there'd be no end to the hassle of losing my deposit then having to shell out more money to reschedule my ride in paradise. Nothing could have been further from the truth. Tim and the gang were more friendly, helpful and understanding than my home dealership. They are the best of the best! Need I say more. In Feb 06, My wife, brother and his wife and myself were on a cruise through the islands. We only had one day devoted to riding due to our scheduled days at each port. Due to heavy rain and winds we could not port the day proir to renting the bikes. We arrived early at the next port and were able to pick up the bikes early we rented from Kuaui HD. They also were very helpful in picking sights to go to like Wailua Falls and Waimea Canyon. Our camera broke during the trip and we lost those pictures or I would love to share them. Views of the Canyon are awsome but the road gets a little windy so be careful. Enjoy your next trip, I know we will.

We rented for a day and the ride was absolutely fun. We went up to Waimea Canyon and the scenery was breathtaking. The bike was flawless and the whole experience was perfect. We were in Kauai in Feb 06 for our 25th anniversary. Remember all the raining/mudslides/floding?? Well we had deceided long before that the one thing we would do while in Kauai was rent a Harley. We were very discouraged with all the rain but one day it was just sprinkles-we decided to take a chance and rent a bike anyway. We stopped at your dealership and you were all AWESOME! You gave us encouragement to rent them and just enjoy the scenery! And we did have a wonderful 4 hour ride with just a few sprinkles! There is no more beautiful way to see God's handy work than than on the back of a HARLEY!!! We rented an Ultra-we own a Street Glide-and it was very comfy for my wife-but I can't get her to trade off our Street Glide for an Ultra! She like the sporty look! rented one of your heritages and me and the wife had a ball cruising the island. the staff was the greatest and Chris was great to talk to as well. being picked up at the ship and taken back was great because we got to see some back country on the way to the shop and made it all worth while to begin our sight seeing trip on a great bike. when ever back will stop by and say hello and most likely will rent another bike. we highly reccomend Kauai Harley for your rental needs and from what I saw of the prices you might want to buy also. both of us have been riding for over 20 yrs and this is the best way to see the Island of Kauai in october (06) for us or anytime!!! My wife Carol and I rented a Road King from you folks over the Hollidays (Dec 06). Your prices were great and the service was wonderful. I can't imagine a more perfect way to experience the island than from one of your bikes! Our favorite area was up around Hanalei. It was just beautiful. I would absolutely recomend Kauai Harley Davidson to anybody thinking of renting a bike on the island. The next time we are there we intend to do it again.

My wife and some of our friends were in Kauai in Feb 07 on a cruise. We rented a Heritage Softail, which was almost brand new, for a two day ride around your beautiful island. The staff was very courteous and helpful and even dropped us off at our ship after we came in. I've done helicopter tours before and they're nice, but there is no better way to see the island than on a Harley. We will definitely visit your shop when we come back.

Aloha, My wife, I and two friends came to Hawaii to celebrate my retirement from a 30-year teaching career. I rented a Cessna to fly over the Big Island, we rode down a volcano on bicycles, took a helicopter ride over Kauai, rented cars at each Port and swam at every beach we could find, snorkled, and gorged ourselves with food on the Cruise Ship. But, nothing compared to renting a Harley Softail from your shop and cruising around Kauai for 6 hours. The trip up the road to the Waimea Canyon was awesome. Wide open roads, beautiful weather and good friends to share it with. Thanks for making that day possible. Your friendly smiles and great service made me feel at ease (especially since I hadn't ridden a bike in 40 years!... and that was a 100cc Yamaha) Now I am staring out my window at a 2-foot snowfall that just hit our area and wishing I as back in Kauai cruising down the road......:-( Doug

I rented a Heritage Softtail for about 4 hours and had a great ride. The staff was extremely accomodating as they picked me up from my cruise ship and dropped me off afterwards. I did hit a rainstorm for part of the ride, but Kauai is the most beautiful island and the ride was awesome! When I heard that they are building a Harley-Davidson themed hotel on the island, I thought that I better plan on coming back!! Not even Las vegas has that!

I am 54 yrs. old, female & have never been on a motorcycle! With the insistence of my husband & friends I decided to finally give it a whirl while our cruise ship was docked in Kauai. This was an experience of a life time for me. After starting off on the wrong foot - literally, (I burnt my leg on the tailpipe when getting on!) We rented a Road King in Feb.07 while on a cruise. The poeple that work here are great,The owners son picked us up right at the ship,The bike was spotless and ready to go as soon as we got there.We managed to ride 270 miles ,not bad considering the size of the island,the riding was great,didnt want to stop but that ship wouldn't wait. My trip to kauai was absolutly incredible. The trip was complete after renting a nearly new bike from Kauai H-D. The experience of riding on the Island was fantastic. The staff at the dealership was courtious and friendly. Our group will rent again from the fine folks at Kaui H-D.

My wife and I rented a Heritage Softail when on vacation there in Jan. Enjoyed it so much (my first time on a Harley even though I own another brand cycle) that when we got back to the states we started looking around for a Harley of our own. While on the Pride of Aloha with NCL we stopped over and had only a few hours to enjoy the remaining day on the island and the staff were pleasant and were able to give me a partial day rental price. They staff even provided pickup and drop off service back to the ship since the Harley shop closest to the ship was closed due to shortage in staff. If you visit Kaui and don't rent a Harley from my friends a Kauai H-D, you will never forgive yourself. The staff is great, the bikes are top notch, and there is no better way to see the island. Just awesome, guys. I rented a bike for a day and rode to the canyon and beyond. It was a great set of twisties, and taking the second road back gives it another set as a bonus. I rode 96 miles. I had a blast. I'll do it again when I return in two years.

My daughter and I visited Kauai as part of a corporate event that was chock full of great activities. Due to a cancellation in our schedule, we hired an Electroglide Ultra Classic and took a ride down the coast and up the spur road to the museum. It was the standout activity of our whole visit. The folks at the Lihue store got us going with a minimum of fuss, and the bike was a dream both in the bright coastal sunshine and up into to the misty rain with altitude. This is not optional - it is a must do

My wife and I were in Hawii for our 30th wedding anniversary. While we were in Kauii, we decided it would be fun to rent a Harley to see the island. The staff there treated us wonderfully. They made us feel welcome, and we felt they really appreciated our business. Being the Harley fans we are, we had to purchase some clothing, and when it was all said and done, they gave us a ride back to our ship (on the house!) Went to Kauai at the beginning of May '07 and rented bikes with our friends. What a great way to see the island. Had a great time and everyone at the dealership was great. When we go back it will be something we do again.

Without a doubt, the best way to see the island. With no roof over your head, you can truly enjoy the splendor of the jungle canopy and soak up all the fresh air. We are coming back next year and fully intend to rent again!

My husband Randy and I have just returned 1/24/08 from our first trip to Kauai. We passed your HD store on the way to the house we were staying at and just knew we needed to call about a rental. This is the ONLY way to see the island. The only thing we needed our jeep for was to go to Polihale State Park. We rented a Road King and the saddle bags were perfect for throwing in a swim suit and towel. My husband has ALWAYS had a HD but since we married almost five years ago and blended our families to include 4 children in Jr-Sr High School, we haven't owned one for awhile. This trip made us realize how much we missed having a bike!!! We loved every single minute. We rode over 10 hours one day and had the bike for most of 4 days!!! Your dealership personnel were AWESOME!!! Thanks for helping make our first trip a truely wonderful experience!!!

We wanted to make the most of our cruise ship's short stay on Kauai. So, we decided to rent an Ultra Classic and ride the island. What an awesome experience it was. Everything was just as promised by Tim, including the prompt courtesy pick-up and drop-off at the cruise ship pier. While those other thousands of people were cramming into buses and taxis, we were getting a personal pick up by a Harley-Davidson truck. How special we felt! The bike was clean and in perfect condition. Everyone at the dealership was awesome including the motor-clothes girls who helped us purchase the traditional t-shirts that are a must. Deb & I rented from your shop for the first time on our last visit to Kauai, and it was a totally pleasant experience. The shop staff were 100% friendly, efficient, and thorough. Even though we got caught in some rain, the riding experience was nothing but excellent. Cudos to the staff for getting us set up so quickly. It really got our juices going to get back our our Ultra Classic at home, but alas, the Canadian Winter has other ideas for at least another couple of weeks. I'm a rental customer with Kauai Harley Davidson; I rented an FLTR Road Glide for my vacation. It was my first time on a Harley Davidson touring bike, and I absolutely loved it! My bike at home can't hold a candle to it. The combination of touring such a beautiful island on such a beautiful bike just made the whole vacation for me. I loved the ride so much that I couldn't let a constant down-pour on one morning of my stay keep me off of the bike. I just had to (slowly and with increased caution) get out and ride! Kauai Harley Davidson got me on the bike with no guff! The whole rental contracting process is straight forward and easy. And the staff is very helpful. Personally, I needed test myself on what was a larger bike than what I own. But the test was sensible, thorough, and didn't make me feel like I was repeating my riders' training. Once on the road, the rental period was like a dream. I loved every minute. Tim Lach is a great guy to meet, too. If you've got a little time, just talk with him a bit. He and his staff are real people! So, if you're going to visit Kauai, and you can ride, get a Harley from Tim! You'll never stop thanking yourself for it! PS: Oooh, yeah. You know I'm trading up. Back home from our trip to Hawaii...how sad. My girl and I were treated to a wonderful excursion, renting a Heritage Softail while visiting the island on our cruise. I went to Kauai for a friends wedding in June of 2009. While there, three of us decided to rent some bikes to ride around the Island for the day. We rented a Road King, Street Glide and Ultra Classic. I had the Street Glide and really enjoyed it. At home, I ride a customized Road King. All of our bikes were in great condition and ran exceptionally strong. The staff members were outstanding! From the lady who signed us in to the man who set us up with the bikes. Even the older man with his dog, who appeared to be a mechanic was friendly and extremely helpful when directing us to scenic spots. My wife and I (I am 65) decided to have a holiday in Kauai where we met with our Daughter and her husband who live in San Fransisco. My son in law is a keen surfer and I am a keen bike rider. After 2 days in Kauai I was having serious withdrawal symptoms and decided to contact Kauai Harley in Lihue. The next day I picked up a Road King Classic and rode my heart out in the rain and sunshine of Kauai, I even got to use cruise control for around 1 minute at the western end of the island. This was the first trip to Kuau'i for my wife and myself. I have rented H/Ds on the other Hawaiian Islands and Kauai H/D was, by far, the best H/D motorcycle rental experience ever. I even changed my mind about which bike we wanted (after parking the car and walking by the rows of immaculate, almost-new H/Ds!). No problem. No PROBLEMS of any kind, actually. Cannot thank you enough for putting the "icing" on our incredible Kuau'i vacation "cake." We WILL return to your beautiful island and we WILL make reservations with Kuau'i H/D for another fantastic H/D experience!

We were on my wifes dream vacation, unfortunatly we were booked on a 15 day tour with the golden girls and their husbands. When we finally got to Kauai, we needed to change the course of this vacation. We had to rent a car to get to the dealership to rent a new Road King. It was the turning point of our trip. We cruised up to Waimea Canyon and all over the beautiful island visiting several beaches. When we tell our friends about our trip, we always mention this day as our favorite. We are currently planning our next trip which will include a fly and ride with Kauai Harley Davidson.

Fast and friendly at Kauai H-D I got the best service with smiles. The day started out great and continued out on the road. It was the best day of the whole trip. I did the Waimea canyon on a bike from this shop and got some great pictures and many heads turning.

Took a 7 day cruise about a year ago now, and one of the shore excursions was a Harley ride up the canyon, down to the beaches and through some awsome scenery. I had a sportster at the time back home and they set me up with a softail deluxe (which I ended up buying back home cause I loved the one I rode so much !) Well this was the BEST excursion me and my girlfriend took, I just wish we had more time to cruise around the island more, but had to get the luau earlier that night. While riding, my girlfriend was snapping pictures from the back seat and good thing, cause some of the shots she got were amazing, and some things I didn't notice while I was concentrating on the road. Not sure if NCL still offers this excursion, but if they don't, go ahead and rent from this dealer and ask for some good routes to go on, it's well worth the cost and something you will never forget. We're hoping to get back there next year and if we do we will stop by and rent a bike and ride !

We were going to go on a cruise, so we looked on line for bike rentals and found your site. We got it all set up, you meet us at the ship and took us to your shop and we had the time of our life. We're still on our "Kauai - High" and part of the reason is our hassle-free rental with KH-D. The Garden Isle is built to be enjoyed from a Harley, so we rented two! The reservation process @ KH-D was painless, and the bikes themselves were in pretty good shape. The staff was helpful, patient with our questions and never pushy. Getting a reasonable start, and following the map, we able to go Kauai end-to-end all in one day -- without feeling rushed -- and soaking in all the scenery the island has to offer. Don't rent if you want to be left alone however -- we had people coming up to us all day, asking about the bikes and how they could rent one! -- Being checked back in after the ride by Tim himself was a nice touch. Bottom line? We'll be back!

For my Wife and I, our vacation to Kauai was one of the best vacations we've ever had. We vividly remember renting the Harley and riding aroung the island. From the canyon to the north shore and several scenic stops in between, we throuroughly enjoyed the experience. As I type this response I am at Camp Arifjan (A U.S. Miltary installation) in Kuwait. And since this is summertime I am missing valuable riding time back in Illinois. However, we all must do our duty and take the bad with the good. There aren't many similarities between Kauai and Kuwait... it is 114 degrees today, no canyon, no forrest, and no pristine golf courses (I played Princeville while on Kauai). But I do have my memories of the many trips to Hawaii I've had and look forward to when (no exact plans right now) we return to Kauai. When we do... we fully intend to visit your shop and rent another bike.

The "Rumble through the Jungle" provided by NCL cruise line excursions was a major highlight for wifey and me on the 7 day Hawaiian Island cruise celebrating our 25th anniversary. Our excursion group was met on the pier by Kauai H-D representatives that took us back to the dealership to do the rental transactions. Everything went smooth with the paper work and the delivery of the HOGs + (One 1800 Gold Wing, but we forgave them). This was one of the best times I ever had motorcycling the back roads. My wife and I were in Kauai for our 35th Anniversary and met the Assistant Chief of Police who invited us to ride with him and friends. We couldn't resist and spent the day with them. My Girlfiend & I rented a RoadKing & toured the Island for a day! We had the time of our life! I was born on Oahu and lived all over the world as a kid!! This is the first time that I have ever been to Kauai! It was just as I had immagined it from all the pics that I have seen! The Bike ride just made the trip Perfect! The cruise line cancelled the Rumble through the Jungle because not enough people signed up. So, we called Kauai, HD and they offered to pick us up and take us back to the ship after the rental. The weather was not optimal, but we had a great time on the Road King we rented. So much so we traded the softail in when we returned and bought a new Street Glide. Now I know why they were rented before we got there. Everyone was very accomodating. We will never forget the visit to the Canyon, it took your breath away on the bike. An experience I don't think would have been the same in a car. Thanks for going the extra mile, we were really looking forward to the Rumble trip, but were really glad we went on our own rather than giving up when the cruise line cancelled the trip. My wife and I rented an 07 Ultra Classic and had a blast. The staff at Kauai Harley Davidson was excellent, they had us in and out in under 30 minutes. Chris went over the bike and even suggested some places to ride. We logged over 200 miles in three days. We went up the challenging and beautifull north highway 56 to vistit the Kilauea light house and stopped at Hanalei Bay. Trust me the view is GREAT!! We then went south on 56 and went to Port Allen and then back to Spouting Horn. We did a lot of sightseeing and visited some sights twice. We took alot of amazing pictures. The experience we had on the Harley and with the staff at Kauai Harley Davidson is why we are already planning a return trip. Grew up riding, but I was never much of a Harley guy. After cruising the Big Island on a new Heritage Softail, I was convinced that it was the bike for the job. I usually like to carve and slice through the corners, but I would've missed a lot of the scenery. Tim took great care of me and I would recommend it to anyone. Dear Kauai Harley-Davidson; In early February, I had a 2 day rental on a 2009 Electra Glide Classic. Initially, I thought 2 days may be too long, however it turned out to be a great time! My friend Jeff & I along with our wives rented two Electra Glide Classics to tour the island in April. The scenery is fantastic and seeing it from a Harley is the ultimate! On the first day of our 2 day rental I somehow managed to pick up a 3 inch bolt in the rear tire of my bike. I called Tim and even though it was a Sunday he took care of us. He picked up the bike and had the tire replaced in a matter of hours, all at no charge. I've never had this level of service at any other dealer. Thanks, Tim, for an unforgettable experience! Kauai HD handled the service on my V-Rod ...........until I purchased a fabulous new 2010 Ultra Classic Limited through Tim Lach. We then outfitted the bike with the "proper pipes" and other appropriate accessories. Tim will handle shipping the new Limited to the mainland and back for a 3 week Sturgis 2010 adventure. During my vacation in 2009 I contact Kauai HD to rent a bike for a day. From the beginning, the staff was very friendly and helpful. I rented a Road King and rode the island all day...even rode Waimea Canyon twice! You can't ask for a better experience than the staff and bikes here. I just wanted to drop a line to say "Mahalo" to the folks as Kauai HD, especially Jay,"the Girls" and the young lad that drove us back and forth from our ship (sorry, I forgot his name). My wife Janet and I along with some travelling companions rented a couple of bikes -mine was an '07 Road King and my friend Eugene and his wife Dianne had an Ultra Classic "Strawberry Shortcake" - we received superb service and intstructions. That was just the beginning of a fantastic day of riding. I think I almost hit the 200 mile mark on the odometer! I really can't wait to get on my own Y2K FLHT and get back on the road. Thanks for the "warm taste of freedom" as we Canadians get back to reality here at home, waiting for the latest storm to drop about 20 cm - or 10 inches or so - of snow and ice. I miss Hawaii! My girlfriend and I were on a cruise ship that stopped in Kauai in August of 2006. We had rented a Harley on every Island,and was pleased for the most part. When we got to Kauai,I called and talked with Tim Lach. Tim sent someone to pick us up at the ship! The service we received at Kauai Harley was like no other on any of the islands. Then I found that Tim was from New Hampshire also,and knew the same folks as I do here. I rented a fatboy while we were there in June 07 and it was great. The bike was great.My wife had a wonderfull time riding on the back going up to the canyon and back. I'm hoping to come back in a couple years and if ya'll are still there , I will be renting from ya'll again. Kauai is awesome and with all the things to do there this was a wonderfull way to experience part of it

I have visited Kauai two times and both times I stop by and get most of my gifts from your store. The sales ladies were very helpful and the variety of your merchandise was great.
